Objectives:

  • High-Quality CPR
  • Provide a Systematic Assessment
  • Recognize risk for arrest and provide Early Intervention
  • Advanced Airway Management
  • Differentiate between stable and stable cardiac arrhythmias
  • Provide Vascular Access, either IV or IO
  • Administer peri-arrest and arrest Medications
  • Teamwork and Effective Communication
  • Provide post-arrest care for pediatric patients

Note:  High-Quality CPR is strongly emphasized in this class, good BLS Skills are required. EKG interpretation and ACLS pharmacology knowledge are also needed.  Successfully completing this class also includes passing a 50 question multiple cchoice test with a passing score of 84%.
